SPIE is an international membership society serving scientists and engineers in industry, academia, and government, as well as companies producing leading-edge products. SPIE constituents work in a wide variety of fields that utilize some aspect of optics and photonics, which is the science and application of light.

Optica (formerly OSA)

Optica is where science and technology innovations in optics and photonics converge. Optica promotes the generation, application and archiving of knowledge in optics and photonics. Since 1916, it has worked to bring together scientists, engineers, educators, technicians and business leaders in the fields of optics and photonics.
