The Department of Physics, Society of Physics Students, and the Charlotte Amateur Astronomers Club will host a public night at the UNC Charlotte campus observatory. Telescopes will be available for viewing the Moon and planets. The event is free and open to the public. The observatory is located on campus. An interactive campus map is accessible here. 

The campus observatory is located between the Field House and Recreation Field 6.

In the event of clouds or rain the Star Party will be rescheduled. Please note that this event is outdoors; attendees should dress appropriately for the weather.
