UNC Charlotte
The annual Undergraduate Conference on Research and Creative Activity
provides a forum for undergraduate students to showcase their work in
research and creative activity in all disciplines and interdisciplinary
areas to the UNC Charlotte community and visitors to the campus. The
2008 conference will be held on Friday, April 18 and will feature short
seminars, panel discussions, displays and posters presented by
undergraduate students. A reception (light buffet) will be held after
the presenation and will be followed by the presentation of awards at
5:00 PM.
Undergraduate students from all colleges, departments and academic
programs at UNC Charlotte are invited to showcase their work at the
conference. Students may present their work in the form of a short
seminar, panel discussion, poster, display, or other appropriate means.
Participants who plan to present their work are required to submit
the title of their presentation and other information online. The
online registration will be available in early March 2008. An abstract
of the work is not required. The schedule of events and final program
for the conference will be updated and posted here as the conference
date approaches. Check the program to determine the scheduled time for
your presentation.
The conference is supported generously by Dr. Jeffrey F. West , D.D.S., P.A., M.D., a UNC Charlotte alumnus ('71) who earned undergraduate degrees in biology, chemistry and business.
