 The Department of Physics, Society of Physics Students, and the Charlotte Amateur Astronomers Club will host a public night at the UNC Charlotte campus observatory. Telescopes will be available for viewing the Moon and planets. The event is free and open to the public. The observatory is located on campus. For driving directions, click here. For a campus map, click here. The campus observatory is near Building #43 and Rec Field #3. In the event of clouds or rain the Star Party will be rescheduled. Please note that this event is outdoors. Attendees should dress appropriately for cold weather.
