PHYS 3101. Topics and Methods of General Physics. (3)
Prerequisites: PHYS 2102 and MATH 1242 both with a grade of C or
better. Covers additional topics in physics at an introductory level.
Subjects will include gravitation, angular momentum, wave motion,
geometrical and physical optics, electromagnetic waves, fluid dynamics,
and thermodynamics. An emphasis is placed on developing additional
background and problem solving skills necessary for students to succeed
in upper division physics courses. (Spring)
